A Visionary Ahead of His Time

Janab A. Thangal Kunju Musaliar was an extraordinary industrialist, philanthropist, and social reformer born in Kollam, Kerala. Rising to become one of the most prominent cashew industrialists in India, he dedicated his wealth and energy to uplifting society through education.

Establishing the TKM Trust

In 1956, he established the TKM College Trust, guided by the conviction that technical education was the bedrock of national progress. In 1958, he founded TKM College of Engineering, laying the foundation for an educational hub that now encompasses arts, science, institute of technology, management, and architecture institutions.

Enduring Legacy
